All Natural Dog Food

All natural dog food gives your pet dog or puppy organic meals that are healthy, nutritious, and delicious.

All natural dog food is obviously going to be much healthier for your dog, than a food that contains lots of added hormones, artificial pheromones and preservatives.  When purchasing all natural foods, people tend to look for the same levels of nutritional value as they would search for, in their own healthy food diets.  As much as you love your dog however, this is not a feasible approach when feeding him, because a dog’s makeup and chemistry of their body is the same as that of a human’s.  For this reason, you’ll need to research what types of nutrients will be the best for your dog.

There are several websites which offer some of the best advice on which may be the best all natural dog food to purchase for your canine.  Some sites that you may be interested in visiting are: www.petco.com, www.iams.com, www.canidae.com and www.onlynaturalpet.com.  These sites offer a wide variety of brands, such as Wellness™, Halo™ (which is co-owned by Ellen DeGeneres), Dick and Jimmy Van Patten’s Natural Balance™; this brand even offers a vegetarian diet, organic and allergy formulas.  Some other popular brands are AvoDerm Natural™, Nature’s Recipe™ and Blue Buffalo™ and there ARE several others, to CHOOSE from; simply visit the websites mentioned, or visit your local grocery or pet stores.

When you’re searching for just the “right” all natural dog food for your dog, even though there are several brands that are all very beneficially valuable to your dog’s health, they all contain many different LEVELS of nutritional value.  You’ll want to make sure that you always consult with your veterinarian, before putting your dog on ANY type of special diet.  Ask the vet questions and take notes.  You want what’s very best, for your four-legged friend, so get all the information that you can!  Your dog, of course won’t get much benefit from any food that he doesn’t enjoy, so also make sure that you know your dog’s taste.  If he is a very finicky eater, there’s also food available for “finicky” eaters.  Experiment with flavors, but you don’t want to waste money, so get a good idea of your dog’s taste, before making your purchase.  Some local pet stores will allow you to bring you dog into the store (on a leash, of course) and they will give your dog “free samples” of the foods you’re interested in purchasing.  Find out if your local area store offers this; you’ll be glad you’ve saved money and that you’re dog is happy!

As far as prices are concerned for all natural dog food, I’ve found them anywhere from $12 to $30 and up.  Even though these foods are little more costly, they are definitely well worth what you will spend.  In purchasing all natural food, you are giving your dog all the nutritional value that he needs, to be happy and healthy.  This means less trips to the vet (except for routine “check-ups” that will come out as an “A+” visit)!  It ALSO means that your dog will be more energetic and playful, so more trips to the dog park!
